Pattern Corrections

Despite all patterns being tested, sometimes mistakes or typos slip through. Anytime we find a mistake in a pattern- it is corrected for all future printings. If you find an error not mentioned here, or have any questions regarding any of our patterns, please email

081 Wonderland– The 4-square blocks under the Queen of Hearts are 3″ square (not 2.5″). Cut 4 white/neutral 3″ x 3″ and 4 colored 3″ x 3″ squares.

085 Me Without You- The border requirements were not included in the first printing. You need 1 1/2 yards for the borders.

094 Doodle Doo– The paragraph on page 2, after the fusible-web instructions, should be omitted and ignored. The correct measurements before binding are 60.5″ x 80.5″ (which is listed correctly on all other pages), and we recommend starting with the rooster and working outward (as noted on page 1).

095 Down on the Farm– The instructions for the half-square triangles are wrong. The listed size of the cut squares was listed as 4 3/8″ but should be 4 7/8″. Patterns post 12/1/20 are corrected.

100 Twitter/Quiltmaker– This pattern was first published in Quiltmaker magazine. Although their instructions are correct, we often get questions about attaching the B squares to the pinwheels. The B squares will need to be cut on the diagonal first, the long edge of the triangle sewn to one edge of your pinwheel. After you sew the pinwheels together, the points will be slightly cut off- that’s intentional, just to give them a slightly softer edge. Please email us if you have any questions, we’re happy to help!

108 Mandala– First release of this pattern the templates were miscalculated- there are 2 leaf sizes, the smaller leaf is the same shape/size as petal A. The corrected amounts are Petal A: 36, Small Leaf (With the Petal A Template): 36 Future patterns have been corrected.

112 Rainy Days– Arm missing in some patterns. missing arm

113 Duck Duck Goose Block of the Month– Floss colors on the cover (Blue/White) are different than the colors described in the instructions (Black/White). Either blue or black is fine to use, but we used a blue. The Sulky color thread on the cover is the color used.

Patterns outside of the US (distributed through Creative Abundance)- Block One cover white material list differs from the instructions. In this case, the instructions are correct. The cover was our mistake – corrected 1/26/21

114 Duck Duck Goose Mini– All instructions/templates/diagrams are correct. Final diagram does not reflect some covers. There is a 3.5″ x 15.5″ strip that was added (left of Block C) that is not shown on some covers- we used a mint green wheat/baby goose print.
